Marketing Intern (Mandarin Content)

We are looking for a Marketing Intern (Mandarin Content) to join our team and help us deliver engaging content to our Mandarin-speaking audience. As a Marketing Intern (Mandarin Content), you will be responsible for creating and translating marketing content, managing social media channels, and coordinating marketing programs with our partners. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable marketing experience in the insurance industry while working with a dynamic and passionate team.

• Media Monitoring -- Assist in monitoring media coverage and keeping track of relevant news articles and press releases related to the company.
• Content Creation -- Assist in creating engaging content for various PR materials, such as press releases, media kits and LinkedIn posts. Help proofread and edit content (English and Chinese) to ensure accuracy and consistence.
• Event Coordination -- Support the coordination and execution of media and non-media events such as media interviews and on-ground activities.
• Content Strategy - develop social media content strategy for the specific target audience to promote the brand and products.
• Analytics and Reporting - able to conduct social media analysis of the content produced and report the performance to the line manager.
• Writing and Translation - contribute to blog write-ups and/or translation of Pesan by Qoala from Malay or English to Mandarin.
• Create and translate marketing content, including articles, social media posts, and email campaigns, for the Mandarin-speaking audience.
• Manage Qoala's social media channels and keep our followers engaged with relevant content.
• Support the marketing team in day-to-day activities and ad-hoc projects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the insurance and marketing industries and share insights with the team.:

Requirements

• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of how social media marketing works will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of social media platforms.
• A bare minimum background understanding of insurance.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Eager to learn social media marketing for a new market and platform.
• Friendly amp; passionate personality, able to work in a team effectively and not camera shy.
