Job Summary: The Financial Controller handles financial and accounting aspects for the company. Responsible for all administration and legal issues pertaining to the company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Coach and develop a team

• Ensure that nominated people (at branch level) have the relevant skills.
• Ensure that the use of tools and processes are properly master by his/ her teams.
• Implement the strategy for assigned perimeter.

CAPEX and commitment management

• Ensure DAC quality and timeline are met at 80% or more.
• Ensure quality Memo is issued to support DAC.
• Ensure there are at least 2 quotes submitted.

Credit Risk Management

• Assess quality of DIR.
• Anticipation of DIR and ensure DIR issued before shipment released.
• Ensure proper filing of all requested fields.
• Ensure inclusion of supporting documents such as financial reports, credit reports and memos.

DSO

• Monitor and ensure DSO is as per Management target.
• Cash follow up: regular report of daily cash position in ARIIS and the subsequent month cash forecast.
• Formalization of cash communication.

Cash Management

Others

• Review of aging folio balance.
• Focus on open folio which are unmatched and older than 3 months.
• Review existing internal controls and procedure for improvement and fine tuning.
• Educating accounting staff on usage of tools and template to ease daily tasks.
• Responsible for all legal issues relating to debt collections, legal compliance, etc.
• Presentation of full/consolidated financial results to management on a monthly basis, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and data integrity.
• Lead role in the consolidation and presentation of budgets and forecasts in conjunction with Regional Management requirement with a high level of analytical capability.
• Key liaison with external auditors.
