What you’ll be doing:
- Campaign Execution: Lead the development and rollout of marketing campaigns tailored specifically for the Japanese audience, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Content Creation amp; Management: Curate and oversee content for platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, ensuring it's culturally relevant and engaging for the Japanese market.
- Event Planning amp; Reporting: Strategize and manage all events, from planning to execution. This includes handling the events calendar, budgeting, setting objectives and KPIs, and post-event analysis.
- Community Engagement Analysis: Evaluate community engagement through both quantitative and qualitative measures. Establish and monitor KPIs, providing regular reports on the effectiveness of community outreach strategies.
- Market Insight Collection: Continuously research and gather insights about the Japanese market to inform and refine marketing strategies.
- Partnership Development: Identify potential local media partners and explore co-marketing opportunities to amplify brand presence.
- Copywriting: Oversee and ensure the quality of Japanese ad copy for the website and other marketing materials, ensuring cultural relevance and brand consistency.
- POP UP Store Campaign Management: Lead the planning and execution of POP UP store events in Japan, ensuring they resonate with the local audience and align with brand objectives.
- Customer Engagement: Actively communicate with customers on various social media platforms, addressing their queries and fostering a positive brand image.
Requirements
- Proven experience (2 years+ ideally) within a social media focused capacity; community management or social media marketing and management.
- Ability to translate communication materials to Japanese. Excellent English is essential
- Strong project management skills
- Proven ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate with other key decision makers in a complex matrix environment
- Self-motivated and can work with a lot of autonomy, yet thrive in collaboration and teamwork
