We are looking for motivated amp; organised individuals to join our team! The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Finance department, including analysing data/info, documenting, and reporting.
Reporting to: Finance Manager for JV - L Beauty
Position Purpose:
The Assistant Accountant is supporting Finance Manager on the day-to-day operations of the Finance department of the Company and Business Partnering.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor amp; Analyse customers account for overdue invoices and follow up with customers on overdue balances
- Ensure sales orders amp; retail store sales flow into system correctly
- Ensure clearing of account receivables collections on time
- Issue customers billing for Sales order amp; intercompany billing on time
- Issue credit note on time with proper supporting
- Follow up on stock write-off / charges out
- Perform month end closing on time
- Preparing reports/schedules on time
- Conduct boutique cycle counts and stock take
- Administrative task such as renewal of license, arranging for credit card terminals etc
- Assist with Audit amp; Tax request amp; queries
- Compiling documents for internal audit requirements

Education/Experience
- Possess Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Accounting in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Accounts Receivable
- FMCG industry experience highly desired, but not required
- Experience using SAP is advantageous
- Highly motivated, detailed and result-oriented person
- Organised, self-starter with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact at all levels and work independently in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
- Creative and innovative attitude, always looking for new ways to improve current processes/activities.
