Job Description

Conjointly offers a powerful and intuitive platform and expert support for insights about markets, customers, product, and pricing questions. We are an Australian-headquartered provider of quantitative research services to big and small companies (mostly in USA and Europe). Through automation, we increase efficiency for our clients, but maintain a human connection and high research quality. As we grow (in number of products that we offer and in clients’ awareness of us), we need passionate researchers, software developers, and other team members to join us for remote roles.

As an Account Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for an assigned client portfolio, managing end-to-end research projects from proposal to delivery. Initially, you will take on an individual contributor capacity, reporting directly to the Management Consultant. As the project grows, you will have the opportunity to assemble and mentor a small team of junior researchers to ensure the smooth execution of the projects and deliver them within time and budget. Please note that this role may requires you to have client meeting calls after office hours for the first 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and advise our clients in the creation of their own market research using our platform, including consulting them via email, zoom meetings and demos to the client
  • Consult with clients to understand research objectives, project scope, and technical requirements
  • Develop proposals and cost estimates for quantitative market research solutions
  • Design research methodology, sampling plans, questionnaires, discussion guides, and analytics approaches
  • Work closely with our fieldwork team in administering online panel surveys and data collection
  • Oversee research analysis, report generation, presentation decks, and deliverable production
  • Present research findings and strategic recommendations to clients
  • Ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery as per project charters
  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow assigned accounts

Requirements

  • Excellent proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written
  • Bachelor's degree in any field, with a preference for Statistics, Marketing, Mathematics, Economics, Sociology, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience, of which a minimum of 2 years in the Market Research field
  • Strong business acumen and client engagement skills
  • Understanding of market research techniques and data analysis fundamentals
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Comfortable dealing with numbers, statistics, and translating data into insights
  • Ability to work with clients directly in a professional services setting
