Job Description

As a Group Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team, primarily responsible for ensuring accurate group consolidation and financial reporting. Your expertise in IFRS, IAS, and financial analysis will be essential as you work collaboratively with subsidiaries, auditors, and management to facilitate sound financial decision-making. This position requires a detail-oriented and experienced professional who can thrive in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. The Job:

  • Budgeting and Review: Assist in developing the annual budget input worksheet and participate in quarterly budget reviews to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Management Reporting: Compile monthly management reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Quarterly Consolidation: Facilitate the consolidation of management reports on a quarterly basis to track progress and make informed decisions.
  • Intercompany Reconciliation: Reconcile intercompany balances to eliminate discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Subsidiary Support: Provide guidance and support to subsidiaries, helping them comply with financial reporting standards and best practices.
  • Financial Reports Renewal: Manage the renewal of financial reports from subsidiary companies, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Audit Coordination: Collaborate closely with auditors during interim and annual audit processes, providing necessary documentation and insights.

Requirements

The Person

  • Bachelor's Degree or Professional Certificate (ACCA) in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, with an advantage if you have prior Group Consolidations experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
  • Strong teamwork skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Experience with consolidation software and workflows is a plus.
