About the Role:
Kasagi Labo is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Kuala Lumpur. We are building a technology platform that utilizes Generative AI, Machine Learning, and Blockchain to enable billions of fans to continuously discover the anime they love, connect with creators, and with each other, and ultimately purchase high-end, authentic merchandise.
You will be responsible for the overall development life-cycle and delivery of a cloud-native, multi-tenant content delivery and social networking platform. This role is ideal for experienced individuals who are ready to take on more technical responsibilities and contribute to the full-stack development of our cutting-edge technology platform.
What you can expect to work on:
- Take ownership of assigned features or modules from inception to deployment, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive the evolution of our technology stack.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality and consistency across the codebase.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack web development.
- Proficiency building SPA (e.g., React.js, Next.js on Vercel, JavaScript, TypeScript) or native mobile applications in either Android or iOS
- Exposure to either Golang, Python, or a JVM-based language such as Java, Kotlin
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive attitude towards teamwork and knowledge sharing.
