About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Analytical Engineer with strong expertise in DBT, SQL, and Data Modeling to join our growing data team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between data engineering and data analytics by building efficient data transformation pipelines, maintaining high-quality data models, and enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable DBT models and transformation pipelines.
Develop efficient, optimized SQL queries for analytics, reporting, and data validation.
Create and maintain logical and physical data models that support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable datasets.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across data sources and downstream systems.
Implement data governance, documentation, and best practices for version control and model management.
Troubleshoot data issues and improve pipeline performance.
Contribute to data architecture improvements and standardization initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python for data manipulation or automation.
Knowledge of orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
Exposure to BI tools like Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
Requirements & Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
2–5 years of experience as an Analytical Engineer, Data Engineer, BI Developer, or similar role.
Strong expertise in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization).
Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for creating modular, testable data transformations.
Deep understanding of data modeling concepts (Star schema, Snowflake schema, normalization).
Experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
