This position is a resident representative role within AsiaPacific International Arbitration Chamber (Malaysia). It is not limited to a single administrative function, but focuses on comprehensive coordination, professional conduct, and long-term development, making it suitable for candidates seeking cross-functional growth in the legal and dispute resolution field.
Responsibilities:
1. Office Operations & Management
Responsible for the daily operation, order maintenance, and basic management of the Malaysia representative office.
Coordinate office resources, vendors, and external service providers to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
Implement and follow up on work arrangements and management instructions issued by headquarters.
2. Administrative & General Affairs Support
Handle administrative matters, HR-related support, and general office affairs.
Assist in establishing and implementing internal procedures and management guidelines.
Serve as a communication liaison between headquarters and the local office, ensuring timely and accurate information flow.
3. Client Reception & External Liaison
Handle reception and coordination for visiting clients, partners, and related parties.
Assist in organizing meetings, discussions, and related professional or business activities.
Maintain the institution’s professional image and external relationships in Malaysia.
4. Arbitration-Related Support (Subject to Legal Background)
Candidates with a legal background may, under authorization and guidance, be involved in arbitration-related support tasks.
Including but not limited to case administration, document organization, and procedural coordination.
Liaise with arbitrators, lawyers, and relevant parties on routine administrative matters.
Requirements & Skills
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above; legal-related majors are preferred.
Candidates with a legal background or a strong interest in arbitration and dispute resolution are preferred.
Malaysian resident with familiarity with the local working and business environment.
Good command of Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
Detail-oriented, responsible, and demonstrating strong professionalism and execution.
Strong coordination skills, emotional stability, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
