The Pre-Sales team is responsible for providing business solutions to new & existing corporate customers on Internet & WAN, Managed Security, IP VPN, VoIP, Hosting and customised solutions.
Responsible for actively driving and managing the pre sales process with business customers. The Pre Sales Consultant must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users. Primarily engaged in a presales technical consultancy role, the consultant will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre-sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams on proposal activities.
Key Responsibilities
To be main solution contact point for Business Key Account Management
To attend meetings with potential Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a proposal
Provide business solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
Create and confidently deliver solution presentations internally and externally
To facilitate and conduct exploration on business solutions/customized solutions
Able to understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer, Solution partnership, technical collaboration with partners e.g: service providers, system integrators, equipment vendors with professionalism and enthusiasm
Support Key Account Manager, to include - activity reports, bid/tender process, project forecasts
Build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork with Business sales team and customers
Your Merits:
At least a tertiary level qualification in Engineering, Computer Science field or hold a professional qualification from a recognized body, though extensive relevant experience may be considered
Min 3-5 years of experience in technical operations and/or network planning in Telecommunications or ISP environment
Minimum intermediate knowledge in at least 2 of the below areas:
IP Network : Internet Access, IP/MPLS Network, Access Transport Network, WIFI and IT Network
Radio Network : LTE/3g/2G network
Data Network : Voice over IP (SIP), Machine to Machine Network and Domestic Leased Lines
Project Rollout : Business solution project planning and deployment or network site rollouts
Preferably with Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
Good understanding in Digitalization and Business Solution concept
Mind-set to ‘take lead’ and enjoy innovation and do whatever it takes to deliver on mandate
Strong knowledge in the following technologies: IP networking, access transmission and internet access
Proficient in verbal and written communication skills and good presentations skills

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
