Technical Project Manager (Cyber Security) for Security Operations
Do you want join a global security team in growth and manage our security operations related projects?
We are now looking for a new colleague in the position Technical Project Manager (Cyber Security) to join our team in Security Operations. This team is responsible to support the Telenor Business Units in the Asia region in their journey of security maturity. We provide guidance, communicate best practices and coordinate security incidents regionally.
About the role:
As a member of the security operations center of excellence, your main responsibility will be to plan, execute and manage security operations related projects. You are expected to lead a team of subject matter experts in executing the planned initiatives and to communicate proactively to management on issues and solutions. In order to carry out your role effectively, you will closely interact with security operations function and other stakeholders in the Asian business units. Strong collaboration is key to ensure success of each projects.With strong IT expertise and good security knowledge you are also expected to contribute to the improvement of security operations and uplift of security posture of Business Units.
Being in a global function, you will need to promote and actively contribute to new strategic initiatives within security operations, such as security monitoring, vulnerability management, threat detection, risk analysis, and threat prevention. In general all of our team members contribute in all fields and collaborate across security domains in an international work environment, so willingness to learn and some travelling is expected, mainly within the Asia region.

About you:

Relevant degree in information security, computer science or related field
Excellent problem solving skills, ability to identify issues, key risk and provide solutions
Strong IT knowledge and passionate in information security
Good understanding of security risk, current threat landscape and evolution of security in digital landscape, e.g., cloud environment, Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile financial services
Personal Qualities:
Have the desire and drive to learn new stuff. Ability to quickly acquire and utilize knowledge on new methodologies and solutions, emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
Good stakeholder management skills with excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills in English
Analytic, resourceful and solution oriented with the ability to see the big picture, evaluate risks and support decisions.
A team player that drives cross-functional and organizational cooperation
Bold and innovative mind-set with strong professional integrity.

As this is a global role, the working language will be English. The location of the role is preferably in Digi offices in Malaysia (Selangor).
