Job Description

Then come in and join our Siemens Healthineers Malaysia team as Head of Finance, Diagnostics (DX). We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and energetic finance professional to join the Siemens Healthineers Malaysia family. The successful individual will lead the Diagnostics (DX) Finance team in all aspects of the Finance function and act as the primary business partner to the DX Sales , Logistics and Project Management teams in driving commercial aspects of business development opportunities and deal execution.

Your mission and responsibilities :

  • You will Support Sales Team as Finance Business Partner in business development phase to drive profitable growth and adherence to company guidelines
  • You will be responsible for drafting and negotiating contractual terms and conditions with support from Legal Counsel
  • You will serve as primary customer and internal contract for DX Finance related matters
  • You will provide transparency on sales development and opportunity funnel to ensure accurate forecasts together with Sales Team
  • You will assist in Project Handover to ensure smooth transition from sales to deal execution
  • You will work closely with Project Management, Logistics and Customer Service during deal execution to support timely implementation and act as primary customer and internal contact for Finance related matters
  • You will be responsible for monitoring the monthly billing process to ensure invoices are raised timely
  • You will ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results to HQ / local management
  • You will maintain clean books and records in accordance IFRS and company reporting guidelines
  • You will perform regular analysis of contract profitability performance
  • You will liaise with Auditors
  • You will be responsible for bi-annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycle whereby you will manage the full budgeting / forecasting process of Orders, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Free Cash Flow
  • You will be responsible for performing variance analysis to understand the key root causes and performance drivers to provide meaningful commentary to Executive and Regional Management
  • You be responsible for financial figures input into the global forecasting tool
  • You will identify continuous improvement opportunities particularly a view towards the digitalization of processes and reporting tools that aid the creation and maintenance of management information dashboards with up-to -date and meaningful information for both monitoring and decision making
  • You will draw strategies for continuous development of your team to adapt to financial accounting changes and develop the necessary skills needed in the age of digitalization

Job Specification

Your qualifications and experiences:

  • You hold a successfully completed Degree and consistent outstanding academic record
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior Finance Leadership role with exposure to internal Executive Management and Customer C-Suite in negotiation settings
  • You have experience within the Healthcare industry, particularly Medical Technology or Digital Health Solutions would be an added advantage
  • You have completed ACA , CPA , ACCA , CIMA or similarly qualified would be an added advantage
  • You are confident in leading change management activities and driving continuous improvement projects

Your personality and skills:

  • You can communicate effectively both orally and in writing to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with different stakeholders contacted while performing assigned duties including Company management and outside business associates
  • You can explain financial concepts to non-financial managers
  • You have strong technical accounting (IFRS) knowledge to interpret and apply guidance in the context of the business scenario
  • You have an excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand complex situations quickly and explain to others
  • You have knowledge of Contract Law fundamentals to aid in the review of proposals and agreements to identify risks and propose alternative language to mitigate these risks to the business with support from Legal counsel
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively to achieve tight deadlines
