Segment Specialist in Factories, F&B, Semicon is responsible to work on pro-active basis to Create end user acceptance and specification offering within the target segment(s).
Drive and implement in Electrification; EL Global Market and sales activities for the selected market segment(s) in line with the agreed strategy in Kuala Lumpur; Malaysia. Work with key external influencers to educate, inform and solicit support for new ABB ventures and technical developments. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and continuously monitor segment performance and you will report to Channel Manager
Being responsible for achieving key targets (e.g. volume, price, and mix) for the local Factories, F&B.
Creating detailed business plans, implement with regular follow-up and ensuring the major accounts in the Factories, F&B, Semicon segment are identified and prioritizing, May act as Account Manager for one or more major accounts in the Electrification Business.
Should exhibit good knowledge of Factories, F&B, Semicon segment, customers and projects in allocated market and building and maintaining strong relationships with the key customers in the Factories, F&B, following up ABB’s performance in fulfilling their needs and communicating deficiencies and/or opportunities to respective business line.
Should have worked in Direct Sales Role in Electrical Industry for Factories, F&B, Semicon projects, experience in LV components, switchgear, smart building system and UPS industry preferred.
Should have strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering, especially in areas of power distribution and transmission.
Should have commercial strength to negotiate and close sales deal and proactively engage with internal stake holder (GAM, PM, Sales, Segment) for internal alignment and strategy planning
Providing weekly, monthly update on segment related (Sales tool, Report and etc).

Electrical Engineer, with 5+ years of experience in electrical industry as well as segment / application knowledge in Factories, F&B, Semicon.
Broad understanding of direct sales to large customers and end user.
Strong network within Semincon, F&B or Factory segment and proven ability to work across functions and reporting lines.
Good communication and presentation skills. Commercially astute.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Must be self-starter and pro-active. Be able to work independently as well as in team.
