ABB’s Electrification business is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel.
You will be a vital member of the Electrification team in EL Global Markets in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the Technical Promotion & Design Manager, you will utilize your extensive skills and technical expertise to lead a variety of design projects.
Your responsibilities
Implementing proactive promotional activities for the customer target group, including e.g. technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars and education material.
Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their current and future needs and ensuring the customer has a good understanding of the full ABB products/systems/services offering, features and benefits.
Ensuring a positive experience for the customer target group throughout the promotion activities.
Preparing plans for visits and performing regular status reviews, including the analysis and output of the target audience visits.
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques, communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy, managing and driving education of the target audience by conducting and organizing appropriate training interventions.
Creating vision of a loyal, committed and long-term customer relationship and implementing the necessary action plan and steps to reach the vision.
Ensuring cross-collaboration and continuously developing own and team members technical, commercial, design and behavioral competences and know-how

Job Specification
Your background
A Honor Degree in Engineering Field.
More than 5 years of experience in design and execution, working as Technical Design & Promotion Specialist with either MV, LV and ELV products background.
Sound knowledge of {insert specific products/services} and the {Electrical industries market.
Knowledge of Microsoft Power point, Excel, Word and AutoCAD.
Initiative, creativity and great attention to detail.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
