Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description:

• In charge to lead the whole warehouse and ensuring smooth operations for ALL departments such as Inbound, STM, Picking, Packing, Outbound, Housekeeping and RTS.
• Monitors overall operation of warehouse and warehouse management system effectively and efficiently and ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Manpower and asset planning and arrangement to ensure cost effective and smooth operations.
• Manage staff performance by coaching, training, planning, monitoring of staff and resolve any disciplinary or dispute that arise.
• Ensure compliance in safety regulations and practices
• Produce regular reports and statistics on daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Responsible for security, safety and loss prevention of stocks by reporting to authority department for investigation any theft case external and internal
• Responsible to make claims with security company for any losses.
• Coordinate the loading and unloading containers
• Strategies and undertake actions to meet KPI, SOP and operational standards
• Manage WH staffs and workers performance including attendance, work schedule and KPI
• Train, lead and motivate staffs
• Propose solutions should any problem/issue arise
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Candidates fluent in English
• Willing to work in long hours included weekends and public holidays (if needed)
• Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
