The role will be part of a global team providing a 24 x 5 service to overall Company. Key responsibilities include:
- Day to Day Monitoring of Endpoint Security dashboards and tools sets to provide a first line response to IT security related incidents.
- Decision making responsibility around the whitelisting and blocking of applications and file paths
- Management and resolution of security incidents, and escalation where required
- Security Alert Triage to prevent and block potential threats.
- Monitoring of dashboards and various toolsets to enable rapid detection of security incidents .
- Escalation of incidents to local IT teams where remote resolution is not possible, whilst maintaining end-to-end management during incident lifecycle.
- Maintains records, in accordance with procedures, and advises relevant persons of actions taken
- Oversee the performance of the Asia based analyst (also in KL)
Requirements
Degree in Computing
3-5 Years experience working within the IT sector
Experience in Incident management processes and methodologies
Use of / experience in, Cloud computing technologies - Workspace One, Microsoft Azure, Carbon Black.
Good understanding of IT Security principles
Good Command of Spoken and Written English
