As part of the Account and Finance team, you will be dealing with all the financial/accounting processes and data with a high focus on the costs and collections side of the business to ensure that our growth is profitable and sustainable.
We are looking for a highly analytical, driven, and strong knowledge of accounting to join us. You will also use accounting software and liaise with service providers and internal teams to manage our expenses, our balance sheet, and our cash flow.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Manager in identifying areas for process optimisation and performance of quality reviews to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Delivery of professional and consistent service to stakeholders in resolving inquiries related to Accounts Payable function and enhance the effectiveness of the team
- Perform various tasks related to transaction processing, including investigation, resolution and escalation of issues in a timely manner
- Ensure input VAT/ SST / WHT are accounted for accurately in accordance to the various SEA countries’ regulations
- Maintenance of internal documentation, SOPs, metric controls and monitoring of KPIs
- Ensure timeliness of monthly closing activities and related reports
- Ensure compliance to key controls within the Accounts Payable processes
- Assist in identifying and support changes in systems and processes
- Lead, develop and appraise the AP Team
- Ad hoc assignment
Requirements
- At least Degree holder/Professional membership (ACCA/CPA/CIMA - Partial/Full)
- At least a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in related industries
- The potential to lead and motivates others
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Well-developed accounting skills, analytic and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and details
- Encourage young and passionate candidates
- Self-motivated and proactive; able to work meticulously under tight deadlines
- Requires skills: Microsoft Office, Xero cloud accounting software (optional)
- Required language: English and Bahasa Malaysia
