Responsibilities

  • Inspire, train, coach, mentor and lead the organization on the Agile working model which drives continuous value delivery of each team, value stream and the company as a whole.
  • Coach multi-cultural teams to discover better ways of delivery, at a pace that is sustainable towards self-organization and self-sustainability.
  • Partners with our Product Owners, who drive the agenda of up to 7 teams (from engineering over to operations, marketing and partner facing teams), to enrich their portfolio of practices and tools so they can measure and optimize the delivery of value through empirical inspection amp; adaption.
  • Work with senior management and C-level to expore ways to improve our state of agility.
  • Mentor individuals, as needed, in areas like communications and interpersonal interactions (also conflict resolution) so people can really be the best version of themselves.
  • Continuously nurture a transparent, trusting and psychologically-safe environment where people can be genuine and problems can be raised without any fear of blame or judgment - with an emphasis on learning, collaboration and problem solving.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies like Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Retrospective when needed.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration and dependency management.
  • Facilitate agile training sessions on values, principles, and common ways to put them into practice.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience as full time Agile Coach.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization from the team to C-suite.
  • Adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments.
  • Expert knowledge in multiple agile practices: Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, LeSS and Lean.
  • Compassionate, humble, inspiring and respectful with a high empathy towards people.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill.
  • A deep understanding of organizational behavior, communication styles, group dynamics, systems thinking, facilitation techniques, teaching and coaching.
  • Confident to coach many different identities across the organization, from product over to operations, marketing and top management.
  • Passionate about agile, yet open minded and not dogmatic with any specific practices; understands how each practice fits into the specific context to improve the quality of the product and the flow of value.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, a continuous learner who excels in a start-up environment.
  • Able to look at things in a positive way.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
