Endeavor is a global non-profit whose mission is to lead the high impact entrepreneurship movement around the world. We believe that High Impact Entrepreneurs (HIEs) can catalyze the growth of entrepreneur ecosystems, leading to significant job and wealth creation.
Globally, Endeavor supports 1,200+ companies that generate US$20 billion in revenues and employed 3 million people. The Malaysian chapter currently supports 36 companies across two support tracks, and the portfolio generated MYR 1.4 billion in revenues in 2018.
Role
This role is part of the Entrepreneur Selection and Growth (ESG) team that selects and supports HIEs to scale and catalyze economic development in Malaysia. The ESG Associate will report to the Head of ESG.
Key responsibilities include:
Searching and screening high-impact entrepreneurs running high-growth companies Preparing company profiles, analyzing business models, innovation, growth potential amp; team ability Preparing and coaching candidates through the various stages of the selection process Harnessing the resources within the global Endeavor network to deliver and track a development plan for entrepreneurs who have been selected Establishing strong relationships with Endeavor mentors, investors, corporates and other potential partners to assist our entrepreneurs Forming and running workshops, webinars and group mentoring sessions to benefit our entrepreneurs and increase our reach to the larger entrepreneurial ecosystemRequirements
Skills amp; Experience Required
2-3 years of experience either in business operations, consulting, venture capital, entrepreneurship Strong business judgement Strong communication skills, both written and oral Great interpersonal skills and team work abilitySelf-starter, able to work in a fast-paced environment Passionate about entrepreneurship and building entrepreneurial ecosystems Ability to wear many hats
