Job Description

L Beauty is a joint-venture between LVMH Perfumes and Cosmetics and Luxasia for the distribution and business development of some of its Beauty brands in South East Asia. The portfolio of L Beauty comprises of Benefit Cosmetics , MAKE UP FOR EVER, Fresh, Givenchy and Parfums Christian Dior - Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines.

Position Purpose:

  • Develop and execute 360 marketing programs while working closely with Regional Office teams to adapt marketing campaigns relevant to local market needs. Develop seasonal marketing calendar to maximize launches and strategic focus. Ensure ongoing update and communication of the calendar to all relevant stakeholders (sales and training teams)
  • Responsible for branding products, price positioning, market forecasts and maintaining good relationships with Sephora and mall management
  • Sale results analysis and product forecasting
  • Monitor and manage the marketing budget deliver creative and cost effective promotional activities including seeking sponsorship opportunities for increased external support
  • Organising PR event, Consumer Workshops and Third-party tie-ups for new launches and key animations
  • Recruit relevant key/beauty influencers to engage with the brand to increase brand awareness and brand love
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the ecommerce department of a company with a significant online presence. Work closely with Regional Office team to develop online marketing strategies to grow e-commerce business
  • To work closely with Digital Agency to plan and manage marketing campaigns that promote a company’s brand story-telling, products USP and services to drive growth in e-commerce business and increase traffic to boutiques.
  • To work with external agencies on development and designing of marketing collateral, promotional materials and promotion setup, which includes coordinating promotional drawings, preparing setup guidelines

Description of Duties:

  • Coordinate with Brand General Manager to create amp; implement marketing strategies outlined by the brand to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Monitor and manage the marketing budget deliver creative and cost effective promotional activities including seeking sponsorship opportunities for increased external support.
  • Propose and implement local promotional and trade marketing plan to support Regional team new launches objectives.
  • Work closely with Regional team to recruit new consumer promotion campaigns and to develop consumer engagement plans.
  • Analyze sales data and determine sales forecast.
  • Prepare and present regular sales and marketing reports to management on monthly basis.
  • Stay updated with latest marketing trends and competitor activities.
  • Maintain customer relationship programs and track customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit relevant key/beauty influencers to engage with the brand to increase brand awareness and brand love.
  • To work closely and communicate clearly with Retail team and Trainer on time to develop and coordinate integrated marketing to drive results.
  • To work with external agencies on development and designing of marketing collateral, promotional materials and promotion setup, which includes coordinating promotional drawings, preparing setup guidelines.
  • Organizing PR related events such as press conferences, in-store activities for media and key influencers, etc.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years of working experience in Marketing and E-commerce from the retail industry.
  • Proficient in IT skills particularly MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Additional skills in design and photo-editing software would be added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in written and conversational English amp; Malay. Able to converse in Mandarin and local dialects is added advantage.
  • Resourceful self-starter, with a can-do attitude that thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and able to deliver results under pressure and under tight deadlines
