IT Security Engineer (Mobile)

The Job:

• Perform penetration and security audit on mobile applications (MVA).
• Review and audit code for common security vulnerabilities.
• Review, analyze, and evaluate all internally developed application and procedures to address security requirements
• Identify attack vectors.
• Promote and Empowering Developers on Security principles amp; coding practices.
• Vulnerability research amp; discovery.
• Keep up to date with the hacking trends and ensure all Company's applications are protected.
• Assist with audit and testing security of applications upon each product/version release.

Requirements

The Person:

• 1+ years of mobile security testing experience, such as: vulnerability assessment, code review, penetration testing.
• Understanding of OWASP Mobile Top 10 and familiar with common security libraries and applications.
• Experience in API endpoint testing and understanding of OWASP API Security Top 10.
• Vast experience in filesystem/network analysis and determine access control issues.
• Strong technical knowledge around mobile application security: ability to identify and reproduce reported vulnerabilities, as well as assess contextual risk.
• Knowledge of common vulnerability classes (e.g., buffer overflows, use after free, race conditions, etc.)
• Experience in protecting ML models and weights.
• Experience with penetration testing tools such as ADB, MobSF, Frida, Burp Suite and other open source tools.
• Experience with coding and languages used for mobile development such as Java, Swift, Kotlin.
• Have knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices in information security.
• Positive attitude towards rapid learning.
• Experience in bug bounty programs, CTFs and/or having InfoSec certifications (eMAPT, OSCP or other technical certifications relating to security testing) will be an added advantage.
• Most importantly, you love security, you enjoy hacking, when you figure out how to exploit some tricky bug you feel happy for the rest of the day.
