In the Senior Finance Executive role, you’d be responsible for tracking and restoring accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies. You will be recording daily financial transactions in the accounting system accurately and timely.
You don’t need to be an expert or know everything about our industry (even we don’t!). But the work is challenging, fast paced, and always on the bleeding edge. So, we’re looking for someone with a curious mind, a strong drive to make things happen, and a passion to keep improving yourself.
What you will do:
- Responsible for Beep delivery payments and reconciliations
- Create and review sales invoices, ensure accuracy and match for payments
- Daily bank matching from bank statements to general ledger
- Daily entry of financial transactions in accounting system
- Able to perform closing of full set accounts monthly
- Assist with accounts payable function
- Prepare and lodge SST returns
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the financial controller
- Liaise with other departments to resolve issue
Requirements
- Proven work experience (at least 2 years) in accounting/ finance function or audit, startup experience is a plus
- Good attention to detail
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and basic accounting knowledge
- Competency in MS Office and Xero accounting software a plus
- SST knowledge a plus
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good organisational and time-management abilities
- At least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent
- Proven strong academic results in high school and university. Professional qualification holder (ACCA or CIMA) will be a bonus
