As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies/plans and automated test scripts to ensure delivery of quality information systems and/or software programs of moderate complexity that conform to organization standards and user requirements.
You don’t need to be an expert or know everything about our industry (even we don’t!). But the work is challenging, fast paced, and always on the bleeding edge. So, we’re looking for someone with a curious mind, a strong drive to make things happen, and a passion to keep improving yourself.
Requirements
What you will do:
- Analysis of current manual test processes to design automation scope and structure.
- Build and implementation of robust automated test suites.
- Integration of automated test suites with the current CI/CD process.
- Maintenance of automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture.
- Create/Manage/Utilize Defect workflows with automated test execution.
- Design and publish meaningful metrics to support automation test creation and execution.
What you will need:
- At least 2 years of experience in the field of test automation
- Solid experience in software quality assurance practices, processes, and tools
- Good knowledge of common test methodologies: integration tests, regression tests, performance tests, and security tests
- Experience with Python or JavaScript programming
- Hands-on experience in test automation practices and tools (Selenium, RESTful, HttpRunner, Jenkins, Charles or JMeter)
- Good understanding of agile QA methodologies and the SCRUM software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to identify, mitigate and communicate project risks
- Know-how about continuous improvement
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
