Job Description

Duration: 6 month initially with potential for contract extension

Location: This role is available on a remote or part-remote basis within and around the Selangor state

(Currently we are all working remotely due to Covid-19)


We’re not a creative marketing agency - we do B2B (business to business marketing) for our clients who are known as some of the giants in the tech world. decision-making skills to work with partners to consult and develop their marketing strategies and tactics.

In this role, you will be working on behalf a large tech-vendor to drive the marketing efforts of their partners, consulting on their marketing strategies, tactics and campaign building to develop effective campaigns that deliver ROI.


The person:

A great Partner Marketing Manager needs to have a very strong understanding of what is happening in the marketplace and what influences buying decisions. You will keep on top of market trends and proactively manage vendor brand messaging so it meets the consumer head on. You will need to be analytical in your thinking to track ROI and ensure constant review to ensure that partner campaigns deliver. Planning, directing and adjusting multiple campaigns calls for an ability to focus on details.


The day-to-day
  • Engagement with business owners and marketing managers
  • Enable and guide partners on Vendors programs and tool
  • Trouble shooting and escalating when needed
  • Work with sales leaders, business development leaders, and audience marketing leaders to develop effective field training and enablement tools including: presentations, whitepapers, market analyses, and structured programs that help all of the above be more effective
  • Establish metrics to effectively track, monitor, and measure alliance marketing impact aligned to business objectives
  • Take the salesperson’s perspective to identify gaps in our core and campaign materials to ensure that they are supported influencing their accounts
  • Supporting partners with developing their campaigns through MDFs
  • Regularly interact with key leaders to understand customer requirements and market perceptions in order to create and deliver compelling differentiators

Requirements

Skills amp; experience that you will offer:
  • A valid Visa permitting work in Malaysia
  • Business Level English, both written and spoken, with ability to adapt communication style to fit audience
  • Experience of planning and developing full strategic marketing campaigns, including budget management and allocation
  • Experience of tracking campaign ROI
  • Experience of digital marketing
  • Ability to localise material from English briefs for local delivery
  • Strong relationship building and telephone skills
  • Ability/confidence to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently, when required
  • Willingness to learn and contribute ideas

Advantageous:

  • Knowledge and/or experience of the IT channel
  • Fluency in Indonesian, Mandarin, Thai or Vietnamese languages are desirable but not essential
