As a Home cook community building manager for Cookpad in Malaysia, your role will be to build a user community that people who like cooking want to be a part of. This is a contract position and the successful candidate will be able to work full-time remotely.

You will be mainly working on:

• Creation, curation and distribution of quality content that will attract and engage users, and spread the Cookpad message to make everyday cooking fun
• Initiate user engagement activities or communication strategies especially to increase users who enjoy referring to Cookpad recipes and send cooksnaps habitually
• Announce all the new updates in Cookpad products and support users
• Become the biggest fun of Cookpad, share your recipes and cooksnaps daily to deeply understand about Cookpad product and Malaysia community
• Represent Cookpad brand with authenticity and integrity in every interaction with users and third-parties
• Work closely with a country leader and product team acting as the bridge between users and product

Requirements

This role will be perfect for you if you:

• are passionate about Cookpad’s mission to make everyday cooking fun, and growing the Cookpad community in Malaysia
• are interested in how cooking can have a profound impact on the everyday life of billions of people around the globe and on the planet
• have an appetite for understanding local food-related events, seasonal ingredients and latest cooking industry trends
• hold a Bachelor degree
• have strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good rapport with users through writing, and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness
• have good independent problem solving capability
• are a self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working independently, yet collaboratively, within a fast-paced environment and under extreme uncertainty, while maintaining a positive, proactive and energetic approach are highly organized and able to multitask
• are organized and detail-oriented, but can balance these details with the larger business objectives
• have an excellent command of Malay and English
• have excellent copywriting and editing skills
• have working knowledge of online working tools, can master new online tools quickly
• have previous work experience in an international team environment is a PLUS
