NME Asia is looking for English-language writers based in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam to join our freelance news team. Writers can expect to cover entertainment news about music, film, TV and more from the region and beyond.
The ideal candidate is resourceful and versatile, pays attention to detail and accuracy, familiar with the music and entertainment industries in their home country, and curious about those elsewhere in the region.
News writers must be able to work shifts on weekdays. This is a part-time position pegged to day rates, with an additional incentive structure.
