The successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Assist in the maintenance of the research facility.
  • Assist in experimental work.
  • Assist in sampling for the experiments.
  • Assist in any other duties to support the Sustainable Aquaculture Flagship.
  • Write and submit a report at the end of internship period.

Requirements

This internship opportunity is open for individuals with the following skills and qualifications:

  • The candidate either will have obtained or currently be working towards obtaining a Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Fisheries and Aquaculture or related field.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good organizational skills.

Locationand Duration

The intern will be based at WorldFish Headquarters, in Penang, Malaysia. The successful candidate should be available to commence the internship as soon as possible for a duration of 5 months. This position is open to national applicants.
