Job Description

  • Working closely with and providing support to the recruitment team in understanding the recruitment needs of each Business Unit and developing sourcing strategies as appropriate.
  • Ensure the respective hiring process is followed, from seeking approval to hire through to offer extension.
  • Champion use of Workable (ATS) as the primary source of candidate and job information, recording and following feedback and communication with hiring managers and ensure information is updated regularly.
  • Ensuring prompt preparation, issuing, and sending offer and new starter documents using Workable and DocuSign, following the on-boarding processes though to the end (payroll and IT set up, day one introductions).
  • Review and define Job Description, support and assist Business Units with the document specifications.
  • Ensuring best candidate experience throughout the hiring process, responding to all candidates that has an interest to work with Datacom.
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the Recruitment team across New Zealand, Australia, and Manila, sharing knowledge and supporting each other when necessary.
  • Lead an environment of continuous improvement, proactive and constantly researching creative ways to attract talent. Refine, change and updates processes and activities on an ongoing basis to ensures the team keeps up to date with market changes, operates at full efficiency and adds value to the business.
  • Responsible for the recruitment team’s continued professional development, through formal, informal learning and set the bar for excellent performance
  • Research competitors and provide market intelligence to the recruitment team, business partners, this ensures Datacom is able to react swiftly to market shifts and activities taking information to the business mitigating risks, demonstrating credibility and adding value to the recruitment services, guide decisions with data.
  • Lead employment branding initiatives that will contribute to building a strong and healthy pipeline of talented people for the respective Business Units.
  • Build key long-term relationships with universities or organizations that can be a leverage for scaling up recruitment goals and developing home-grown talent.
  • Work to meet the stated purpose and vision of Datacom, guided by the values and keep top of mind the strategic priorities set by the CEO.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Recruiting Manager managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Sound knowledge of government/recruitment legislation and HR practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as recruitment software.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • Sound organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
