You will partner with our Sales and Sales Engineering teams across APAC to take on strategic responsibility for all Business Development Activities in Malaysia.

  • Working with our Market Intelligence team, to market map priority organisations, competitors and stakeholders to target
  • Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to develop targeted go to market strategies and then execute Campaigns to align to strategies
  • Managing multiple prospects and sales pipeline effectively, pushing through requirements to the sales team
  • Identifying and understanding financial organisations aims and objectives and match them with Thought Machine’s product offering
  • Setting up and delivering introductory Thought Machine conversations with key clients and be present at formal meetings with Sales Directors
  • Partnering effectively with our Marketing, Market Intelligence and Sales teams to identify and execute communication strategies
  • Capturing and prioritising leads from a variety of sources, being creative and proactive in your approach
  • Developing growth strategies and plans

Requirements

Essential

  • 5+ years experience in a Sales or Business Development function in a company selling technology solutions to financial services/ banks
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce and other online sales tools/ platforms
  • Understand sales life cycle for Enterprise Sales to Financial Institutions
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to effectively sell a technical product to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Able to present to C-level executives and senior stakeholders

  • Experience in retail banking/ core banking platforms
