We are looking for a motivated, dynamic IT Executive to join our team. An exciting position for those interested with exposure system administration, system implementation and user support.

In this role you will be responsible for:

This position will report to the Country IT Manager. This position will be responsible to ensure the smooth running of existing IT/IS systems, compliance with Group and Local IT policies, successful implementation and upgrade of new systems, and provide IT support to users. Incumbent will be required to travel within Malaysia for IT support, system implementation and training.

  • Provide 1st and/or 2nd level support to all users.
  • Assist in setup, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to IT hardware, network and system (Include but not limited to Printers, Local Servers, Firewall, Router, Computer, Smartphone amp; Application Systems).
  • Assist in user accounts administration.
  • Assist in asset and inventory management of IT related hardware and software purchased.
  • Support and coordinate the implementation/upgrade of business application systems.
  • Conduct IT training for internal employees as needed.
  • Manage day-to-day end user IT support.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related, with at least 2 years relevant working experience in system administration, system implementation and user support.
  • Working knowledge in the following is required
    • Windows Server 2012/2016
    • Windows 10
    • Microsoft Office Product Suites
    • Network Devices (Firewalls, Routers, WIFI, VPN)
  • Working knowledge in the following will be an added advantage:
    • VMware ESX environment
    • VMware Workspace One
    • SQL Database and Reporting
    • Google Workspace (G Suite)
    • Web-based system programming experience (JavaScript, HTML, ASP.net)
    • Telephony and Call Centre
    • Mobile and social media technologies
    • IT Security
    • serviceNow
  • Good communication amp; analytical skills.
  • Team player who is able to work independently
  • Committed and responsible team player with a pleasant personality.
  • Traveling within Malaysia is required.
  • Employment of foreigners are subject to the local authorities approval and subject to their own visa application

Highly Desirable:

  • Excellent attention to detail and negotiation skills
  • Ability to do multitasking job
  • Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
  • Excellent in both spoken and written English. Multi-lingual Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in Mandarin and Cantonese will be an added advantage
  • Commercially focussed acumen
