Insurance/Takaful Agent

We are looking for experienced Insurance/Takaful Agents who have the thirst for learning and want to be part of a growing insurtech organisation in SEA. Qoala is an insurance technology startup that works with insurance companies to offer innovative insurance products such as car, motor and personal accident insurance by making it universally accessible, affordable and easy to use for all. We are looking to establish a network of insurance/Takaful agents to complement this.

• Establish a collaborative relationship with prospective clients from various sources such as networking, cold calling, and referrals.

• Breed productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, using referrals etc
• Report the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders
• Achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives
• Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services
• Develop marketing strategies and promote all types of new insurance contracts or suggest additions/changes to existing ones

Requirements

• Minimum experience of 1 year as an insurance/takaful agent. Preferably from agency or broker background.
• Possess strong knowledge of products and services available on Qoala
• Be ever ready to respond to clients’ insurance-related questions and issues
• Able to provide impartial recommendations based on prospective clients’ needs
• Implement marketing strategies developed by the marketing team
• Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
