What We Need

This role will work as part of the Group Strategy team on supporting strategy development, implementation and optimization for 500 Global’s internal operations and global business. This includes managing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders, ideating solutions to complex processes or matters and overall solving for the needs of the business.

This position will be remote, although candidates already based in the UAE or Malaysia would be preferred for time zone coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic priorities and achievement of group goals through research and data, ideation, conceptualization of solutions and plans, fostering alignment, and managing internal and external stakeholders and communication as needed.
  • Moving into specific business functions and needs, to troubleshoot or track progress of projects and initiatives.
  • Anticipating and planning ahead for specific outcomes or needs which are aligned to business goals or plans.
  • Review, track and update key performance indicators across the company.
  • Help architect internal operations processes and communication plans to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as a liaison between key stakeholders, including conveying, gathering and organizing information to and from various teams.
  • Build and maintain institutional playbooks, resources and trackers.

Requirements


  • Intellectually curious with strong critical thinking skills and business sense.
  • Strong EQ and ability to read and manage different perspectives.
  • Superior analytical and project management capabilities. Proven ability in prioritizing workflows, working independently within tight deadlines, and collaborating across teams with limited supervision.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects across a wide variety of functional business problems.
  • Clear, effective communicator across written and verbal communication; able to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functions at all levels of experience.
  • Creativity and comfortable with ‘blank sheet of paper’ assignments. Comfortable with ambiguity and identifying what may be needed to define clarity.
  • Discreet and trustworthy in handling sensitive commercial information and conducting discussions accordingly.

Education and experience:

  • Strong academic track record, with a degree in Law, Business, Economics or Management from a top-tier institution.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in either a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in-house strategy team or within a high growth technology startup or venture capital firm.
  • Strongly proficient in Excel / Sheets and Powerpoint / Slides. Familiarity with CRM and database software.
