Duration: 6 months contract with a perspective for full-time, permanent

Location: This role is available within and around Selangor state. We practice a hybrid working model between our office and working from home.

Join a leading Agency with a difference. Our Niche is IT and Channel. B2B marketing only. You'll focus on B2B Channel Marketing for our clients who are known as some of the giants in the tech world. The role focuses on helping Businesses develop joint marketing strategies that align with the IT vendors funding the marketing.

In this role, you will working on behalf of a very well-known and reputable IT vendor specializing in cloud platform technology to drive the marketing efforts of their partners, who are located across APJ.


What is a Strategic Marketing Consultant

This forward-thinking, client facing marketing architect can create, scope and present a customized marketing proposal in a fast-paced, engaging environment. In this role, you will gain great breadth and depth of experience in today's emerging world of marketing. Your strategic marketing proposals will include digital marketing and other conventional marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness and delivering top-notch lead generation programs to our clients. You will be helping multiple technology vendors increase engagement and deliver on their offerings and services.

Serving as a key resource on the marketing services team, you'll regularly take center stage to influence marketing strategy and develop campaign proposals that meet the client’s objectives. You will design, pitch, and close proposals, managing multiple campaign proposals with multiple vendor’s partners simultaneously. To be successful in this role, you will be well versed in all areas of marketing and will foster open and consistent communication with members of the broader Marketing Services Team.

The day-to-day:

  • Ability to understand complex business issues and produce strategic marketing campaign proposals leveraging on different marketing tactic aimed at enhancing brand awareness, driving website traffic and most importantly acquiring new leads and customers.
  • Consistently leverage multiple digital media channels including PPC, SEO and search marketing, sponsored social and video advertising, email marketing and other traffic generation techniques as well as complete related media buys, to deliver on campaign goals and objectives.
  • Savvy or familiar with offline Marketing campaign tactics such as events, roundtables, telemarketing, print advertising, sponsorship , incentives)
  • Experience with C-suite messaging and designing ABM with relevant Channel knowledge consisting of Consulting Firms, GSI amp; SI preferred; experience with GSI preferred
  • Drive marketing strategy discussions with internal stakeholders and present strategic proposals back to clients clearly and convincingly to secure business.
  • Regularly communicate status of all proposed projects to internal and external team members.
  • Draw upon quantitative and analytical skills to regularly monitor and make recommendations on all digital marketing activities and trends.
  • Be the expert in digital marketing including technology, tools and strategies and stay current on new, emerging opportunities in the world of digital marketing.
  • Know the local market that enables to strategize proposals to address the total addressable market (TAM) in that region.
  • Build strong relations with the stakeholders and ensure they see you as a trust advisor to their marketing strategy

Requirements

Skills/experience that you will offer:

  • Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent combination of IT channel or IT marketing experience from either the vendor or solution provider business preferably in software, data or cloud.
  • 6-8+ years of progressive Digital Marketing experience in Technology sector
  • 3-5+ years’ experience of working in a consultative Marketing role in providing strategic and integrated end to end effective marketing strategy proposal.
  • Solid grasp of marketing principles including in depth familiarity with marketing funnels and lead conversion goals within a B2B environment in APAC region ( SEA/ANZ/INDIA/CHINA/KOREA)
  • Experience of planning, managing and executing marketing plans with a good understanding of MDF programs.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment and has demonstrated familiarity working in a high-throughput business or agency.
