Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager (Team lead)

We are looking for a full-time Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join our growing team providing exceptional services to our clients.

Specific Job Duties Include:

• Handle task planning, office administration, staff scheduling, staff coaching, execution and closely monitoring engagement progress to ensure pre-agreed deadlines and milestones are met.
• Assist, supervise, and train junior team members on the preparation of monthly financial reconciliations and reports.
• Support other accounting projects and assist with automation and process improvement efforts.
• Work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of your team.
• Work with a client portfolio of SMEs and fast-growing start-ups by using Xero accounting software to update clients’ accounting records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance and/ or other related fields
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA/ CPA) is an added advantage
• 5-10 years of experience with a strong technical accounting background with Big Four Accounting firms is a major advantage.
• Proficient in using Excel for financial statement preparation.
• Supervisory experience, team player with a positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with using Xero Accounting Software is an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Proficiency in reading Mandarin is an advantage but not compulsory
