Technology Systems implementation, Business Analyst, Resources Industry

The Business Analyst for Technology Systems Integration is involved in application delivery projects in Oil and Gas, Chemical, Renewal Energy, Utilities, Mining and/or Natural Resources industries. The Business Analyst role reviews and analyzes systems requirements and is responsible for the planning, designing and solution development for high-value projects. This role also Identifies customer requirements utilizing gap analysis methods and defines the future state and business solution.

Other key features of the role includes:

1. Functional understanding on the industry supply chain management and economics
2. Technical understanding on the industry suite of applications and application integration
3. Business and System requirement analysis and management
4. Research, gather and synthesize information.
5. Lead discussions & presentations surrounding client's requirements.
6. Lead, manage and/or support process improvement activities

Job Specification


1. 3-8 years Business Analyst experience in an information systems environment
2. Bachelors / Master Degree in in any field
3. Relevant certification (e.g. IIBA certifications) - not mandatory but would be a plus
4. Ability to demonstrate analytical and creative thought in high profile work with tight timescales
5. Proven success in project work across many industry sectors
6. Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
7. Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
