Key tasks and responsibilities
Generating ideas, planning, delivering and managing exciting new global digital plans, you will develop and influence the strategy and direction of HypaShip’s global marketing efforts with involvement in an array of marketing avenues but predominantly digital.
- Create and manage far reaching and powerful digital marketing strategies from initiation to end, aligned with HypaShip’s business strategy
- Build brand presence and new audiences on digital channels, through key influencers and bloggers, marketing campaigns, partnerships and online community management
- Produce first class, unique content (copy, posts, photos, videos, infographics) for all digital outlets (website, blogs, email campaigns, social media posts, editorials and PR pieces etc)
- Develop and use business aligned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess digital strategies and campaigns
- Ensure continual improvement of digital marketing
- Create and maintain HypaShip’s website, Pay Per Click campaigns, LinkedIn paid advertising activities, SEO tasks, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube content and campaigns
- Use industry knowledge and analysis to Inform new and existing strategies and campaigns
- Populate and maintain lead generation software and tools for future sales
- Maintain databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Continuously review digital tools and systems to ensure innovation and effectiveness
- Maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders by setting objectives and reviews aligned with strategy
- Assess external stakeholders’ fit for purpose
- Create presentations and ongoing management reports
- Organise events and exhibitions, including developing marketing materials needed
- Carry out general marketing administration
Experience and skills
- Marketing or digital marketing qualification (degree or equivalent)
- 3+ years’ demonstrable commercial experience in a digital marketing role, defining and executing strategy and delivering campaigns
- Proven experience designing and managing digital marketing strategies using major social media platforms - LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
- Proven experience in SEO, Google Analytics, email marketing, Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, LinkedIn paid advertising and websites
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written (English is a must) with a critical eye for detail and exceptional copywriting skills and use of grammar
- Proficiency in the English language when speaking and writing
- Ability and experience in designing and producing unique and engaging copy
- Strong research, analytical, organisational and presentational skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time, organisation and self management skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities and to work under pressure
- Familiarity with lead generation software, marketing analytics tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Confidence and conviction to challenge and to present new ideas to senior management
- Willingness to immerse yourself in the industry to fully harness the power of marketing
- Experience of creative software, i.e. InDesign and Photoshop etc
- Willingness to be flexible with hours and work across different time zones, which may mean working in the day and evening
- Working with offshore teams
- It is desirable that you have worked in (or on a project for) a commercial carrier or logistics/postal company
