We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and data-driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. The Email Marketing Specialist will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of our email marketing strategies to drive awareness, revenue, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies, campaigns, and automated flows to achieve business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing and ecommerce teams to design and implement email marketing flows and automation for customer segments, including welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Use CRM and marketing automation tools to segment and target customer groups effectively, ensuring relevant and personalised content is delivered to the right audiences.
- Conduct regular analysis and reporting on email campaign performance, leveraging data and insights to optimise and improve results in terms of engagement, conversions, and ROI.
- Ensure email marketing best practices are followed, maintaining a high level of deliverability, sender reputation, and overall email hygiene.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, content, and product teams, to create compelling email designs and copy that align with our brand voice and messaging.
- Stay current on email marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing, preferably within the retail or e-commerce industry.
- Strong understanding of email marketing concepts, metrics, and best practices.
- Proficient in CRM and marketing automation platforms, such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive email copy.
- Experience with email design and layout, as well as basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret and utilise data to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
