Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Budget Operation Team Lead will oversee the process of accurately allocating actual expenditure transactions. The successful applicant will be responsible for the accuracy of the data and the timing of the submission of the data. The Budget Operation Team Lead will also be responsible for analyzing financial data and providing advice to senior management on budget decisions.RESPONSIBILITIES- Organization of operational work on the allocation of operations according to the budget
- Organization of data storage structure
- Optimization of work using automated systems and rules
- Collaborate with other members of the finance team to maintain accurate financial records
- Compliance with team targets and achievement of strategic goals
- Analyze complex financial data and provide clear, concise reports to management
- Manage ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the budget director
- Manage and lead a team of budget analysts, providing guidance, training, and mentoring to ensure high-quality work output
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in math, IT or related field
- At least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and/or accounting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide recommendations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies in financial data
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software programs
- Good knowledge of SQL and databases
